About the Book: Lirael

Lirael is a young girl who has lived her whole life in the Clayr's Glacier. The Clayr have the ability to recieve visions from the future. They all have dark skin and light hair...except Lirael. She stands out like a sore thumb and is the only girl her age who hasn't recieved the sight. Fortunately, she meets the Disreputable Dog and goes on an adventure of her own as the new Abhorsen in waiting.

The second book in Garth Nix's Abhorsen trilogy takes readers deeper into this unfolding adventure, pulling you into the life, dreams and hopes of Lirael.
